Eater’s Choice Daily Meal Planners were originally created for ages 14 and up with the thought that The Eating Game was a better presentation for the younger age groups. As you may know The Eating Game was initially invented for children with autism. At an autism conference I was approached by a dad whose 5 year old daughter with autism was very focused on reading and printing words. He felt she would respond better to the Eater’s Choice Planner. So these planners are now available for all the Canada’s Food Guide age groups from 4 – 51+ for you to choose as you purchase.
This meal planner will put you in control of being healthier and support your efforts to gain, maintain or lose weight. The guidelines are based on Canada’s Food Guide (CFG) for your age group, ensuring you consume the CFG’s recommended daily servings from each of four categories: 1) Fruit and Vegetables, 2) Milk and Alternatives 3) Meat and Alternatives and 4) Grains. And the reusable format means you can use it again and again.
The Daily Planner can be used one of two ways: 1) to preplan meals for each day or 2) to record foods as you eat during the day. Either way, it is suggested that you focus on choosing foods that are healthy and offer variety in your diet.
