E- Edition Food Picture Booklet

Please refer to FAQ for assistance with downloading your Eating Game materials. This should be done at the time you make the purchase.

Eater’s Choice Daily Meal Planners were originally created for ages 14 and up with the thought that The Eating Game was a better presentations for the younger age groups. As most of you know The Eating Game was initially invented for children with autism. At an autism conference I was approached by a dad whose 5 year old daughter with autism was very focused on reading and printing words. He felt she would respond better to the Eater’s Choice Planner. So these planners are now available for all the Canada’s Food Guide age groups with the exception of the 2-3 year olds.

This booklet available in English only was created as a support for the Eater’s Choice Daily Meal Planners for 2 reasons:

1. To encourage a wider variety of food choices with photos of the foods used in The Eating Game

2. To assist some with the spelling of the food names so they can write it on the planner.

The color of the print on the pages correlates to the colors on the chart, providing foods divided into the four food groups:

  1. Green for fruit and vegetables
  2. Yellow for grains
  3. Red for meat and alternatives
  4. Blue for milk and alternatives
